Subway Slide

Dutch design firm HIK Ontwerpers installed a slide at Overvecht Station as a part of their ongoing urban installation project series. The slide isn’t just for decoration — the Dutch railway company encourages passengers to use it if they are running late or just need a quicker way to get into the station. They call it a "transfer accelerator".

Fiddle Leaf Fig Trees

When I move into my apartment, I'm going to pull up the carpet, polish the concrete and have a fiddle leaf fig tree at the side of the room, right next to my couch. I don't have a balcony and everyone needs some green.
