Fish tail

How awesome is this girl's hair! I had pink in mine when I was at school, but it definitely wasn't as awesome as this.

Stone Home

This unbelievable structure is called A Casa do Penedo, or The House of Stone, and is located in the Fafe mountains of northern Portugal. It was built in 1974 between four large boulders naturally found on the site. Believe it or not, the stone house has 2 stories, a swimming pool and fireplace, serving as a family retreat for many years. Pretty epic, right?

Forts

I love love love this. http://fuckyeahforts.tumblr.com/

Could of been a love story...

Pixel Pour

"Pixel Pour," installed in April 2008 on 9th St. and 2nd Ave, gained overnight internet fame. To //kneeon's surprise, the sculpture began showing up on blogs from NotCot to Gothamist to Boing Boing just days after installation. As tracked by Near Future Laboratory, the piece was tagged and then stolen, and its current location remains unknown.

The installation was recently published in the IndexBook design collection One Day by Emil Kozak. A photo of "Pixel Pour" now resides in the world's first Video Game Museum in Paris, France.

Barn Doors

If I had a house big enough, I would defintely have big old barn doors.

Back to the first 2011 post.

This year is all about the non-goals. Last year I literally had a list of things to accomplish. (Save this much money, do so much excerise, play better basketball, buy an apartment). Now I've stopped being so goal orientated.

The aim: to float through 2011.

I like the idea of floating. It's only been one week of the new year, but I feel like I'm doing pretty well at it. I don't think much can faze you when your floating...

Jeannie Mills Pwerle

This is the most gorgeous aboriginal artwork.
(Just thought I'd include the cat, I think he likes the painting too.)

Welcome 2011.

I don't even know where 2010 went. How life can change in a year.

January 2010. I remember vaguely planning my year out in head, a holiday here, a road trip there, learn to cook at some point, maybe move houses.

Not much of that really went to plan, I still quite clearly can't cook.

January 2011 and I've already started making plans for this year, but somehow it's all different.
